About the Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team at The Kraft Heinz Company. As a Shelf Life Research Intern, you will assist in the development and validation of a prediction model for Shelf Life of Sauces.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of a validated Sauces Protocol for Shelf Life in new packaging
  • Conduct chemical, physical, and sensorial analysis to build a prediction model for Shelf Life
  • Review relevant literature and perform flavours analysis – Gas Chromatography
  • Create a report on new packaging validation for other sauces and update existing reports
  • Execute practical activities, including shelf life tasting and lab analysis
  • Share knowledge within the Innovation centre and other departments

Requirements

  • Food Technology Quality Management/Process Engineering/Food Chemistry/Food Microbiology Bachelor/Master student
  • Experience in lab analysis is crucial, and experience in modelling of data is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both written and verbal (Dutch is not a requirement but other languages are a plus)
  • You are curious and eager to learn, you can work independently and in a team, and are accurate with your work
  • You are enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship
