As a Public and Regulatory Advisor at Vattenfall, you'll play a critical role in shaping our company's commercial and strategic interests. You'll be the key interface between Vattenfall and political and external stakeholders, working to create a regulatory framework that supports our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and analyze political and regulatory themes and issues to assess their potential impact on our business.
- Develop Vattenfall's positions on climate and energy-related topics and prepare lobby strategies in close cooperation with the business and other functions.
- Develop strategies to position Vattenfall as a leader in the energy transition.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with political and regulatory stakeholders, including Ministries, Parliament, industry associations, and NGOs.
- Keep the business and senior management informed about relevant external developments.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a strong drive to shape the energy transition, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to write and present complex information effectively. You'll also need to be able to build trust with different stakeholders and create and maintain a network of relevant contacts.
We're looking for someone with a university degree in economics, business, political science, or a related field, and strong knowledge and experience in the energy market. Fluency in Dutch and English is essential, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively in both languages.
