Job Title: Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineering System Integration

As a key member of the Operations Engineering department, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to lead our Manufacturing Engineering System Integration team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a group of engineers and technical specialists, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure personal and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technical specialists to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Drive the implementation of defined strategies and goals, aligning them with direct reports.
  • Organize proper staffing of engineers to provide adequate levels of technical expertise.
  • Prioritize work and resources across the team to optimize performance.
  • Improve team effectiveness, further mature assigned team, and contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Establish daily management (tier 1) for the team and drive KPIs within required performance.
  • Guide team members' professional development through goal setting, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Provide feedback on succession planning and input on the competence matrix.
  • Actively demonstrate and apply leadership behaviors and adhere to 4i Values.
  • Remove barriers to success and enable a work environment where colleagues can be their best selves and are motivated to excel.
  • Provide input for capital investments and coordinate and facilitate higher-level factory/supply chain critical issues as needed.
  • Drive execution of factory and field continuous improvement activities.
Requirements:
  • University degree in a technical area or a combination of education and experience demonstrating required skills.
  • Typically requires 10+ years of experience in a high-tech industry environment in service, development, or manufacturing.
  • Typically requires 5 years of management experience (people and/or projects) in a manufacturing, technical support, or service management role in a high-tech industry environment.
  • Must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (local language preferred) including communication with multiple levels of management, including executive management.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop people via mentoring and coaching.
  • Demonstrated experience with leading and developing technical teams.
  • Working knowledge of cross-site and cross-functional project management, data analysis, and resource planning.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse customers in English and preferably also Dutch language.
  • Collaborative team-player with a hands-on and can-do mentality.
