The Ingredient Solutions (ISOL) EMEA Sales division is pivotal in driving profitable expansion across prioritized segments and categories, including Cultures, Enzymes, Plant-Based Products, Premixes, and Hydrocolloids, while leveraging the synergies from the dsm-firmenich merger. The potential for cross-selling is significant, and with our extensive portfolio, we are uniquely equipped to assist our clients in innovating, enhancing, and growing their businesses.

As the Vice President of Regional Sales, you will be tasked with translating the Global Segments strategy into a Regional sales execution plan to achieve our objectives. You will lead the EMEA Sales team that caters to the Beverage & More segments (cereals & bars), Fresh Dairy, Cheese, and BBCI Baking, Brewing, and Confectionery.

Key Responsibilities

Lead EMEA Sales Initiatives - Propel sustainable financial growth by enhancing (cross) sales and cultivating robust relationships with key customers.

  • Forge and sustain high-level relationships with key strategic clients, industry leaders, and partners to achieve customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction improvements.
  • Oversee financial management (Budget, Forecasts, OPEX), establish financial targets, and monitor the execution of sales strategies; implement corrective measures as needed to meet established goals. Regularly assess and update strategic priorities, including market approach and service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with various departments (across functions, regions, Global Business Units), such as marketing, product innovation, customer focus, and supply chain, to align on KPIs and develop sales strategies that support Group/BU objectives and processes for success.

Implement Sales Leadership - Cultivate a 'future-ready' workforce and organization.

  • Provide leadership, motivation, and coaching to the EMEA sales leadership team and sales personnel, setting objectives and offering guidance to enhance skills and performance.
  • Assist the Sales Team in developing, defining, negotiating, and finalizing long-term sales agreements with clients, fostering value-added business partnerships to achieve sales goals and agreed Customer Service Levels (CSL).
  • Create an organizational structure and operational framework that facilitates the achievement of business objectives.

You Bring

  • A profile that enhances the strategic significance of ISOL Sales EMEA operations.
  • A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in a comparable sales leadership role within a B2B context.
  • A university degree in business, nutrition science, or equivalent experience; MBA/EMBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading large teams across diverse cultures with a high degree of integrity.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and complexity with strong customer focus and stakeholder management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of business processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing, sales, and business operations.
