The Ingredient Solutions (ISOL) EMEA Sales organization plays a critical role in accelerating profitable growth in prioritized segments and categories; Cultures, Enzyme, Plant Based, Premix, Hydrocolloids, and capturing synergies of the dsm-firmenich merger.

As VP Regional Sales, you will translate the Global Segments plan into a Regional strategic sales plan for execution to deliver our ambition. You will lead the EMEA Sales organization serving the business segments Beverage & More (cereals & bars), Fresh Dairy, Cheese, and BBCI Baking, Brewing, Confectionary, Ingredient Processing.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead the EMEA Sales activities

  • Drive sustainable financial growth by boosting (cross) sales and building strong relationships with strategic customers.
  • Establish and maintain top to top relationships with key strategic customers, industry influencers, and strategic partners to realize acquisition and retention of customers and improvements in customer satisfaction.
  • Own the financials (Budget, Forecasts, OPEX), set financial goals, and monitor the execution of the sales plans; take corrective actions when necessary to achieve agreed objectives.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, customer centricity, supply chain to align on KPIs and shape sales strategies with Group/BU goals and processes for success.

Implement Sales Leadership

  • Provide leadership, motivation, coaching the EMEA sales leadership team and the sales teams, setting goals, and providing individual and team guidance to improve skills and high performance.
  • Support the Sales Team to develop, define, negotiate, and conclude with customers long-term sales contracts, conduct value-added business alliances, to realize their sales objectives and agreed Customer Services Levels (CSL).
  • Develop an organization and way of working that enables the realization of business goals.

You Bring

  • The profile to expand the strategic importance of the ISOL Sales EMEA activities.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in a comparable sales leadership position in a B2B environment.
  • University degree in business, nutrition science, or equivalent experience, MBA/EMBA preferred.
  • Experience in leadership of large teams in different cultures with a high level of integrity.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity and complexity, strong customer centricity, and internal stakeholders' management.
  • In-depth knowledge of the business process.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing & sales and business processes.
