Job Summary
AireSpring is seeking an experienced Telecom Business Development Manager to join our team. As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our channel and wholesale business in Europe.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in telecom sales, particularly in carrier, wholesale, and channel sales. You will work closely with our internal teams to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed monthly set quotas for European channel and wholesale sales
- Prospect for new business opportunities and develop relationships with key decision-makers
- Sell Airespring products and services to qualified businesses, focusing on technical solutions that meet their specific needs
- Maintain a high level of sales activity, including needs assessments, application development, proposal presentation, negotiation, and post-sale services
- Submit clean and accurate service order packages for all closed sales
- Manage sold accounts on an ongoing basis to achieve continued revenue growth and revenue retention
- Deliver monthly sales forecasts and reports
- Actively participate in professional development activities and training classes to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Support other members of the sales and service team to ensure customer satisfaction levels are met
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in sales, preferably in carrier, wholesale, or channel sales
- Knowledge of telecom products such as SDWAN, Internet, Ethernet, MPLS, IP Telephony, and collocation
- Experience with contract negotiation and consultative selling
- A proven track record of developing new Carrier/Wholesale/Channel accounts and achieving sales targets
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- The ability to analyze complex technical requirements and develop effective solutions
- Familiarity with industry-standard telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with excellent time management skills
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package and performance-related bonuses.
