Industry Service Business Manager

Drive the commercial success of Marel\u2019s Meat Service Division as our Industry Service Business Manager.
As a key member of the Division Leadership Team for Service, you will directly lead a team of Service Area Managers and indirectly manage a team of Industry Support Coordinators and Spare Parts coordinators. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve the set Commercial Service Sales and growth targets for Marel\u2019s Meat Division.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a short and long-term plan for the commercial development of Marel Meat Service.
- Deploy the agreed plan to achieve successful results.
- Manage and motivate a commercial team, including direct sales and supporting roles.
- Ensure the effectiveness of the team by applying global processes and best practices within the sales team.
- Ensure all business intelligence and opportunity management data is up to date, including CRM, customer reports, installed base, and sales reports.
- Collaborate closely with the Global division/regional commercial teams and ensure commercial escalation is done as agreed.
- Ensure the Customer experience with Marel is always at high levels, with all customer touchpoints aligned.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers through frequent on-site visits.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, their status, and follow-up activities related to customers.
- Collect and analyze competitive pressures and develop winning strategies.
- Proactively assist in building an overview of the competitive landscape and add information to the competitor file.
- Seek support from industry/regional teams and escalate as necessary, according to defined process and time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Master\u2019s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and/or Business Administration or similar preferred.
- Experience in Service concepts and Products.
- A naturally outgoing individual with a profound ability to interact with customers and teams alike.
- Strong people management skills and self-motivation.
- 5 years\u2019 experience in Sales Management of capital goods or specific aftermarket Sales Management roles and a strong desire to lead a team of customer-facing staff.
- Analytic as well as results-driven and goal-oriented person.
- Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage.
