About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Public Affairs to join our team at Gilead Sciences Netherlands BV. As a key member of our Public Affairs department, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans to promote our company's reputation and interests in the BeNeLux region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communications strategies to support business objectives and promote our company's reputation
  • Manage media relations, including traditional and social media, to ensure positive coverage of our company and its activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and communications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, influencers, and community leaders
  • Manage budgets and resources to achieve communications objectives

Requirements

  • Proven experience in public affairs, communications, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Fluency in English
