About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Representative to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our marketing demand generation team, you will be responsible for qualifying client leads generated through various marketing campaigns, social media, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and validate leads from Salesforce and other sources, ensuring they meet our requirements.
  • Manage the process of uploading leads from marketing events, campaigns, social media, and industry events.
  • Qualify all leads using tools like LinkedIn, Client 360, email, and telephone.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to create opportunities for assigned leads and add value to marketing-driven opportunities.
  • Support reporting to stakeholders on pipeline and BDR leads.
  • Present at monthly pipeline review meetings with sales leadership and support sales teams with bottom-of-the-funnel numbers.
  • Set up appointments with prospective clients and sales teams, and follow up to ensure status updates on Salesforce.
  • Manage lead rejection, acceptance, and recycling processes according to MQL definitions.
  • Nurture prospect accounts and move them from marketing qualified leads to sales qualified leads.
  • Document and explain clients' desired outcomes strategically for specific opportunities.
  • Perform performance reporting and data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for pipeline growth.
Requirements
  • Proactive approach to qualifying leads, collaborating with others, and following through on leads.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills and ability to work with data.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS PowerBI.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and awareness to engage with prospective clients.
  • Good relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of the Technology & System Integration industry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a similar role, such as technology or software tele sales, or business-to-business lead generation, or inside sales.
  • Working experience with sales automation or prospecting tools.
  • Lead generation using web-based and social media platforms.
  • Solid prior experience in a Marketing environment is highly beneficial.
