Job Title: Operational Excellence Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Project Manager to join our Logistics Operational Excellence team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a culture of excellence and continuous improvement in our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional projects to identify and implement process improvements, resulting in increased efficiency and reduced costs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to diagnose process issues and develop solutions to improve the flow of our value chain.
  • Develop and maintain our Logistics Target Operating Model, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide internal consultative services on Operational Excellence projects and activities, including process mapping, value stream mapping, and project management.
  • Build capability within teams by targeting training in Operational Excellence tools and methodologies.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in an Operational environment, preferably in FMCG.
  • 2-3 years of proven experience in Project Management, managing mid-to-large scale projects.
  • Preferred experience in Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement, with knowledge of World Class Manufacturing, Lean Management, and/or Toyota Production System.
  • Deep knowledge of Logistics Management Systems and Target Operating Models.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • Fluent in English.
