Retail Sales Development Manager Benelux

NielsenIQ is a global leader in measurement and data analytics, providing unparalleled insights into consumers and markets worldwide. As a Retail Sales Development Manager for Benelux, you will play a crucial role in driving new business opportunities across our NIQ & GfK portfolio in the region.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing a deep understanding of the retail industry in Benelux, including its business, markets, and clusters.
- Increasing penetration of our Business Intelligence solutions, including category management, pricing, and supply chain, among our retail clients.
- Driving client growth through expanding our client base and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategically developing new business opportunities with a long tail of retailers in the Netherlands and Belgium, leveraging our entire NIQ & GfK portfolio.
- Identifying new key stakeholders across the buying centers of existing retail partners and introducing our services and benefits.
- Managing RFPs from need assessment to pitch presentations, negotiation, and closing larger deals in collaboration with our Key Account Manager, AD, and brands.
- Winning retailers currently not benefiting from our strong assets and key retailers to our Retail Partner Program.
- Building a network of effective and meaningful relationships at all levels, both internally and externally, to maximize business opportunities.
- Implementing global and regional strategies and organizations, driving change, and representing NIQ/GfK at retail industry and networking events.
- Accurately forecasting revenue to your line manager and ensuring pipeline accuracy.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in managing revenue targets, with a strong desire to consistently overachieve against both personal targets and objectives.
- SaaS solutions sales experience with a proven track record of delivering strong results against revenue targets and KPIs.
- Retail, FMCG, or software background experience.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English.
