About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Facility Operations Specialist to join our team at DSV in Amsterdam. As a key member of our facility department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our 50,000 m2 warehouse and 200 colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all activities and procedures within the facility department, working closely with technical colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage and maintain inventory of consumables, such as tape, pallets, packaging materials, and more.
- Coordinate procurement of facility services, including negotiating with suppliers and engaging them as needed.
- Handle first-line malfunction reports, perform/coordinate technical maintenance on buildings, business equipment, and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience in a facilities role, such as facility assistant, maintenance worker, or technical staff.
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
- Common sense, a practical attitude, and problem-solving skills.
