About the Role

The Damen Services organization is seeking a highly motivated Sales Engineer to join our team in the Asia-Pacific region. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of our customers in the field of spare parts, logistics, and common activities.

Working closely with the account manager and sales manager, you will approach customers in your region with your own expertise and targets. Your primary focus will be on the proactive sales of spare parts within your region, and you will be responsible for the entire part sales order process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active approach towards (potential) clients to inform them about the possibility of delivery of specific components;
  • Proactive sales of spare parts within your region;
  • Maintaining contact with both clients and suppliers about delivery times and prices;
  • Performing accurately additional administrative work, such as building a dossier for each project;
  • Cooperating with colleagues to strive for a better result every day;

Requirements

  • Completed MBO+ level in a technical or commercial direction;
  • Experience in a technical sales role, preferably within a Service Department;
  • Good command of Dutch and English;
