About the Role

We're seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing Avanade X team of designers. This role involves working in cross-functional teams to design, build, and test digital solutions. Your goal will be to create great experiences for our clients that have a human impact.

We're looking for someone who is resourceful, self-motivated, and pushes themselves and the team to new levels. As an experienced professional, you should be eager to learn, experience new things, and continue to develop yourself and those around you. In this role, you'll work closely with other designers, strategists, and colleagues from Avanade, both in the Netherlands and globally.

  • Several years of practical experience in designing digital products and services.
  • Experience working with A-list brands.
  • Thorough understanding of UX/UI and excellent knowledge of user interface and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Invision, Adobe CS).
  • Demonstrated experience in visual design, including brand identity, typography, color, and style.
  • Demonstrated experience in qualitative/quantitative user research, user journey mapping, and creation of personas.
  • An inspiring portfolio with UX strategy, research, and interaction design.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Dutch and English.
  • Strong curiosity about the design/tech world.

The estimated salary for this position is €70,000-€90,000 per year, depending on experience. If you're interested in leading UX for projects, take ownership of clients & projects, and advocate and thought lead for UX design, we encourage you to apply. You'll also coach & mentor emerging designers in projects and on the work floor. There are opportunities to spot and expand opportunities with our clients, build strong collaborations, and be involved in presales and pitching.
