Role Overview

As a Segment Marketing Manager for EMEA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy in the EMEA region. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage market intelligence to inform decision-making and drive growth for specific market segments. You will lead efforts to position allnex as a thought leader and preferred partner within the coatings or related special chemicals industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Intelligence and Analysis:
    • Accelerate market intelligence to identify growth opportunities, monitor competitor activities, and stay ahead of market trends.
    • Define and prioritize allnex's areas where and how to win in the market.
  • Segment Strategy:
    • Develop and execute a regional EMEA segment strategy and marketing plan, aligned with the business objectives of allnex.
    • Drive impactful marketing initiatives to foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
    • Identify key marketing channels and tactics to engage target audiences effectively.
  • Positioning, Messaging & Content:
    • Develop and shape allnex's positioning within the market segments.
    • Provide compelling messaging and value propositions to support internal and external communication.
  • Lead Generation and Nurturing:
    • Generate leads through targeted campaigns, events, and content marketing initiatives.
    • Align marketing efforts with lead generation goals and support pipeline development.
  • Innovation Management:
    • Identify and prioritize innovation to seed the EMEA innovation pipeline.
    • Drive new product development toward sustainability and green technology.
    • Manage the launch of innovation projects together with innovation teams in the region.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing management, preferably within the coatings-related industries or in chemicals and alternatives industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate market insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
