Overview
The Embassy of Canada to the Netherlands is a diplomatic mission that plays a crucial role in advancing Canadian interests in the Netherlands and at Hague-based international organizations. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-time Administrative Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary
We are looking for a flexible and adaptable Part-time Administrative Coordinator to provide administrative support to all programs within the Embassy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the switchboard, welcoming visitors, providing general information, responding to inquiries, and controlling physical access to the mission. Additionally, they will provide mail services, support the Consular Section, and perform various administrative tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the switchboard and provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
- Welcome visitors and provide general information about the Embassy and its programs
- Respond to a wide range of inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Control physical access to the mission and ensure security protocols are followed
- Provide mail services, including receiving, sorting, screening, and recording incoming and outgoing mail
- Support the Consular Section as needed, including acting as a backup for the Consular Assistant during annual leave or absences
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, maintaining filing systems, and preparing correspondence

Requirements
- High school diploma or higher from a recognized post-secondary education institution
- Fluency in English (reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking)
- Fluency in Dutch (reading, writing, comprehension, and speaking)
- Basic knowledge of French (comprehension and speaking)
- At least 2 years of experience working as a receptionist or administrative assistant providing services to external and/or internal clients
- Experience working in a team environment, providing client service, and performing data entry tasks
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability, flexibility, and attention to detail are essential for this role
