Job Title: Freelance Transcriber

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Transcriber to join our team at the International Criminal Court. As a Freelance Transcriber, you will be responsible for transcribing audio and video recordings in various languages, including Modern Hebrew and English.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a freelance basis, providing transcription services to support the Court's operations. This is a unique chance to contribute to the work of the International Criminal Court and gain valuable experience in the field of transcription.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transcribe audio and video recordings in Modern Hebrew and English with high accuracy and speed
  • Consult with the LSU Transcription team to clarify ambiguities and improve transcription quality
  • Apply feedback provided by the LSU Transcription team to ensure delivery of high-quality transcripts
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in listening to, understanding, and writing Modern Hebrew is a pre-requisite
  • Working knowledge of English is also a pre-requisite
  • Experience in transcription or a related field is an asset
