At Westfalia Fruit, we're dedicated to delivering exceptional quality fruits and value-added products to our global customers. We're looking for a skilled Produce Relationship Specialist to join our team in Poeldijk, Netherlands.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with our customers in the fresh produce sector. This role involves driving growth, managing accounts, and making a tangible impact in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and strengthen customer relationships by understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Proactively engage with customers, conducting regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on customer requirements, industry trends, and competitor offerings to provide relevant insights and stay ahead.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, offering prompt and effective solutions.
  • Manage the end-to-end order process to ensure accuracy and timeliness, coordinating with internal teams to meet customer specifications.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and address any adjustments needed.
  • Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure customer orders meet quality standards and specific requirements.
  • Administer order-related tasks, including confirming orders, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records in internal systems.
  • Champion excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and proactively working to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Sales, Account Management, or Sales Support.
  • Knowledge of the fresh produce industry.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including occasional Saturdays.

  • Competitive salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum.
