About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Superintendent Logistics to join our Renewable Production team in Rotterdam. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe, compliant, reliable, and efficient operations of the Neste Maasvlakte integrated logistics and OSBL complex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe and compliant operations at three locations, with a focus on achieving zero accidents and fostering a strong safety culture within the teams.
  • Lead a team of 5 shift supervisors in accordance with Neste values and leadership principles.
  • Ensure adequate shift manning for safe logistics operations and promote competency development within the operations team.
  • Support the personal development of individual team members and foster leadership growth within the team as a whole.
  • Act as a champion of change, leading by example, and ensure thorough follow-up of forward/pulse surveys within the teams to drive high engagement and cultivate a strong safety culture within the department.
  • Monitor logistics performance and implement corrective measures as necessary to optimize plant efficiency.
  • Collaborate with SCM to align logistics and supply chain production planning goals with site capabilities and maintenance plans.
  • Maintain up-to-date and controlled documents related to logistics operations in NMS.
  • Implement learnings from incidents and Root Cause Analysis to continuously improve logistics work processes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the maintenance superintendent to ensure alignment for maintenance execution works related to the logistics infrastructure in order to achieve reliable operation and meet business targets.
  • Manage contacts with third-party suppliers as needed for operational matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or university degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the Petrochemical industry, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
