Key Responsibilities:
As our QMS Manager / DPA, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, sustainable, and cost-effective operation of our global fleet. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing procedures to ensure compliance with international, statutory, class, and local regulations.
- Overseeing the integrity of our QMS system and ensuring it meets all regulatory requirements.
- Providing leadership and guidance to Marine Superintendents, DPA Italy, Fleetteam Operators, and the RFMO Compliance Officer.
- Coordinating security measures for high-risk voyages and acting as the Company Security Officer (CSO).
- Ensuring ISM/ISO compliance both onboard and ashore, and managing internal and external audits.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, with at least 5 years of sea experience (Captain-level preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years in a (semi) managerial position in a relevant field.
- Strong leadership and people management skills with a team-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication skills in both English and Dutch.
- Proven problem-solving abilities, particularly under high-pressure situations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications, with excellent analytical skills.
