About the Role:

As a Sales Development Representative at Worldpay, you will play a key part in generating new business opportunities to support our sales goals and objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to participate in the sales lead process, pre-qualifying leads received through various channels and generating sales leads through outbound calling in conjunction with lead generation programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Pre-qualify sales leads received through various channels, including telephone, website, tradeshows, and company events.
- Generate sales leads through outbound calling in conjunction with lead generation programs.
- Maintain sales lead documentation and nurture long-term opportunities to continue Worldpay communication in early stages prior to the sales cycle.
- Support all strategic and targeted sales and marketing campaigns through comprehensive data collection and track and evaluate campaign effectiveness, reporting findings to manager.
- Ensure timely lead follow-up by assigned sales executive and conversion of pre-qualified leads to further stages within the sales process.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or communications or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales and/or inside sales and/or lead generation related leadership role.
- Strong management, organizational, team building, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Worldpay products and services and general knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology, including systems, applications, and banking practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, resulting in a clear, concise, and professional manner, including presentations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management in an organized, professional manner.
- Skill in productivity, planning, and workload management and solid decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Added Bonus:

- Multi-lingual - English fluency is required, plus one European language minimum (Spanish, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Nordic language a plus).
