Job Summary

As a Pilot in Command HHO All Weather Specialist at NHV GROUP, you will be responsible for performing operations to offshore installations, vessels, and wind turbines in the North Sea off the coast of the Netherlands and Belgium from our bases in Rotterdam (Pistoolhaven) or Ostend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Familiarity with Relevant Legislation
    • Stay up-to-date with Belgian, Dutch, and International air legislation and agreed aviation practices and procedures.
  • Perform Operations According to Standard Operating Procedures
    • Conduct operations in accordance with NHV standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure Safe Conduct of Flights
    • Plan routes, check fuel levels, navigate, and monitor terrain to ensure safe flight operations.
  • Ensure Safety of Occupants and Cargo
    • Take responsibility for the safety of passengers and cargo during flights.
  • Maintain High Levels of Conduct and Personal Discipline
    • Represent NHV GROUP with high levels of conduct and personal discipline.
  • Manage Rest and Be Prepared for Flight Duty
    • Manage rest periods to ensure readiness for flight duty at all times.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Interact effectively with passengers and demonstrate a service-oriented attitude.
  • Be Flexible and Adaptable
    • Adjust to changes and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic work environment.
Requirements
  • EASA Licenses and Certifications
    • EASA CPL(H) License
    • EASA Class 1 Medical
    • EASA IFR (H)ME + IFR night
    • ATPL(H) theory and MCC certificate
  • Type Rating
    • AS365 N3 or H145 type rating preferred
  • Flight Experience
    • 2000 hours of rotary wing flight experience
    • 1000 hours as Pilot in Command
    • 500 hours of Multi-Engine experience
  • HHO Experience
    • 200 hours of relevant HHO experience in helicopters
    • 200 hoist cycles offshore, with 50 cycles at night
  • Language Skills
    • English Proficiency Level 4
    • Dutch speaking/understanding is mandatory
  • ICT Knowledge
    • Good knowledge of aviation software and administrative programs
