About the Role
Motion Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is a global leader in mirror glass and power-folding actuators. We're expanding our product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions, such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management. To support our teams, we're seeking an EHS Facility Manager located in Woerden & Hoogeveen, Netherlands.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies and guidelines
- Provide internal consulting services on ergonomics, hazardous substances, industrial hygiene, and fire and chemical safety
- Collaborate with departments on equipment design and use, fire prevention, and safety programs
- Review plans and specifications for new and existing machinery and equipment to ensure safety measures are incorporated
- Inspect facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Manage facility maintenance, cleaning, and small construction projects
- Improve efficiency by analyzing and standardizing facility procedures
- Coordinate maintenance and cleaning personnel
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HSE-related field preferred
- In-depth knowledge of HSE laws and regulations
- Experience in initiating and implementing HSE policies and guidelines
- Technical production experience required, with metal industry experience an advantage
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Facility management experience an advantage
- Knowledge of energy management and sustainability
- Service-oriented and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Dutch and English language proficiency
- Dutch driver's license and willingness to travel between locations
