About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Outlets Manager to join our team at Hyatt Regency Amsterdam. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our restaurants and bars, ensuring exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the restaurant and bar operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Assist the F&B Manager in developing and implementing strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Lead and coach the team to achieve exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage products are of high quality and meet the hotel's standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, both front and back of house.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Participate in the selection and training of new employees.
  • Assist in the inventory management and maintenance of hotel operating equipment and other assets.
  • Take responsibility for resolving discrepancies in beverage inventory and bill settlements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working as a Restaurant Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a hotel or similar environment.
  • Degree in Hospitality or Tourism, or equivalent on-the-job training.
  • Excellent language and communication skills in English (and preferably in Dutch).
  • Encouraging and reassuring, with a team player attitude.
  • Experience working with a POS system.
  • Flexible schedule, capable of working in evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Licensed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit.
