Head House Host - Wittenberg by Cove - Amsterdam

As a vital member of the reception team, you will oversee and mentor the House Host team, ensuring exceptional guest service and genuine hospitality throughout the guest journey—from the initial reservation to a warm farewell at checkout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for guests, contractors, and visitors
  • Deliver outstanding service at every touchpoint of the guest experience
  • Actively seek opportunities to enhance revenue and occupancy rates
  • Identify potential upselling opportunities
  • Train and develop the House Host Team
  • Assist the Assistant General Manager in maintaining high standards for Housekeeping and Maintenance Teams
  • Participate in weekend shifts as required
  • Handle payments, cash management, and end-of-day reconciliation
  • Manage reservations and inquiries through various channels in a professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent attention to detail, decision-making, sales ability, and problem-solving skills
  • Minimum of one year in a customer-focused role within the hospitality sector
