Markem-Imaje, a leading provider of identification, traceability, and consumer engagement solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Manager to join our team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our service delivery team, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 Field Service Engineers across the Netherlands and Belgium, ensuring the best-in-class service to our customers in close collaboration with the local sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Field Service team, fostering a close team ethic and driving exceptional performance.
  • Support client visits and KPI monitoring, ensuring seamless customer experiences.
  • Manage relationships and collaboration agreements with Outsourcing partners, driving mutual success.
  • Establish direct communication with key customers, building trust and understanding.
  • Perform people and performance management, driving growth and development.
  • Build specific action plans and monitor progress, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Build a strong relationship with Sales, ensuring efficient communication between the Technical Team and Sales Team.
  • Attend onsite visits with engineers and perform regular customer visits, driving customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for overall administrative tasks, supporting team members and driving operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years' experience working in a similar role, managing a technical team or service delivery, with a focus on technical skills and administrative expertise.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work closely with Sales Management for the area.
  • Exceptional organization and team management skills, with excellent ability to meet deadlines.
  • Work experience within SAP or similar ERP is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent Dutch and English language skills are a must.
