We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our team as an IT Chapter Lead Backend Comfin. This role is responsible for leading the development of our backend systems and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in Java, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

The IT Chapter Lead Backend Comfin will be part of the Management Team of Lease&Comfin and will be responsible for the overall delivery of our IT Area. This includes working closely with the engineering team, managing back-end systems and API connections, and ensuring the stability and security of our applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong drive to constantly keep their own expertise up to speed and will be able to make an active contribution to the development and advancement of the people in their chapter and their field. They will be an energetic Chapter Lead with expertise in engineering, people management, and affinity with run and maintenance of critical applications.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating and fostering a safe and secure engineering culture, and who is experienced in business and IT stakeholder management. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent and will be an Orange Code role model.

The IT Chapter Lead Backend Comfin will be responsible for building and fostering the Java capability within the IT area, supporting across various activities ranging from advising the ITAL to recruiting and coaching engineers. They will also look for the best ways to deliver fast and high-quality software while ensuring the stability and security of the existing system.

The team is located in the Netherlands, India, and Manila, and the official work location will be based out of Bunnik, NL. We are looking for someone who is experienced in cross-cultural and cross-time zone collaboration, and who is familiar with Agile/Scrum/DevOps methodologies.
