About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Lelystad. As an Operations Manager, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center, overseeing the entire logistics process, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the operations team to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field, with a proven track record of success in operations management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of English at a professional level, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
