Job Overview
The HKU is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Coordinator to join its Research Team in the Faculty of Medicine.
About the Role
This is a two-year fixed-term position with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
Responsibilities
- To provide administrative support in the establishment of a new research institute and core research facilities.
- To assist in the management of postgraduate programmes (MPhil/PhD/taught Masters/Postgraduate Diplomas) and funding/award schemes.
- To perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A good Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years' work experience.
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
- Strong computer skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong sense of responsibility and a positive attitude.
- Well-organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
