Job Overview

The HKU is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Administrative Coordinator to join its Research Team in the Faculty of Medicine.

About the Role

This is a two-year fixed-term position with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.

Responsibilities

  • To provide administrative support in the establishment of a new research institute and core research facilities.
  • To assist in the management of postgraduate programmes (MPhil/PhD/taught Masters/Postgraduate Diplomas) and funding/award schemes.
  • To perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A good Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years' work experience.
  • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A strong sense of responsibility and a positive attitude.
  • Well-organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
