Global Director of Innovation

Coty is seeking a highly experienced and innovative leader to drive the development and execution of our global innovation strategy for Max Factor. As our Global Director of Innovation, you will be responsible for setting the vision and direction for our innovation program, aligning it with our overall business strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Execute Innovation Strategy: Establish and implement a forward-thinking innovation strategy aligned with the brand's overall vision and goals.
  • Lead Global Innovation Projects: Oversee the development and launch of new products and services, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with R&D, project management, finance, strategy & insights, communications, commercial, and local markets to drive innovation and growth.
  • Manage Innovation Budget: Develop and manage the innovation budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to drive business growth.
  • Identify Emerging Trends and Technologies: Stay current with emerging trends and technologies, identifying opportunities to drive innovation and growth.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of international brand and product management experience, preferably in the beauty/luxury industry.
  • Strategic thinking and strong innovation, business, and project management skills.
  • Excellent technical affinity with and understanding of packaging, product, formulations, and ingredients.
  • Knowledge/experience focused on diverse skin types, including melanin-rich skin.
  • Creative mindset with a strong eye for design, detail, and storytelling.
  • Passionate about emerging trends and technologies and the digitally/influencer-driven consumer decision journey.
