Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team at WFS PRO BV. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplined team that focuses on process control and eliminating defects through the deployment of our Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) tool suite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers to deliver measurable results in line with operational and program goals.
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and business requirements.
  • Implement and maintain functional engineering standards, as well as develop and deploy manufacturing engineering training strategies.
  • Build a culture of process control and ZDM mindset within the manufacturing engineering team.
  • Responsible for the implementation of tooling and production planning, from original concept through to production.
  • Accountable for product development, new product quotes, tool fabrication quotes, first article development, configuration changes, and cost estimation.
  • Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers, as well as coworkers.
  • Continuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Technical expertise in Manufacturing Engineering, with a professional qualification/background in engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
  • Knowledge and experience in a high-quality production/delivery-driven environment.
  • Experience of managing New Product/Process introduction (industrialisation) & existing production process improvements.
  • 5-10 years of industry experience, ideally in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Approximately 5 years of leadership/management experience.
  • Working knowledge of LEAN processes and practices.
  • Working knowledge of quality system models such as ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).

We offer a competitive package, including a gross monthly salary between € 5.973 and € junior until senior level, based on the CAO Metalektro.
