About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Manager Engineering Blue Robotics to lead and manage multiple engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality engineering deliverables. The primary impact of this role is to implement robust processes to support the development and operationalization of innovative Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs) and electric Remote Operated Vehicles (eROVs) technologies.
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure team follows Fugro's standard engineering, design and software development processes;
- Review and approve development plans and time estimates;
- Responsible for effective resource scaling up & down if required;
- Coach teams in Agile/OKR work practices and to become more effective;
- Work with Director Blue Robotics, Innovation Director and Team Leads to assure the right composition of people and talent in the engineering teams;
- Liaise with external innovation organisations to promote Fugro and attract new talent.
Your Profile
- MSc. or BSc. degree in an industry associated engineering discipline, preferable in robotics, and significant experience in management (5+ years);
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills;
- Well versed in the Agile methodology with 5+ years of experience;
- Ability to effectively share the 'wisdom'' that comes from the required work experience;
- Proven experience in influencing and inspiring diverse groups of people sitting across various geographic locations to work as team;
- A consistent track record of effective leadership;
- Excellent communication skills in English, encompassing both verbal and written proficiency.
