About the Role

The Managing Director will be responsible for driving the energy transition in the Netherlands and acting as Siemens Energy's Brand Ambassador/Country key representative through proximity to customers, authorities, internal & external stakeholders. The role will focus on leading transformation, delivering growth, and creating success by building a culture that fosters collaboration and delights customers according to Siemens Energy's Values.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as Siemens Energy's key representative in the country through proximity to customers, authorities, and other stakeholders & shareholders; orchestrate, support, and coordinate internal stakeholders to achieve the optimal result for SE and Wind Power.
- Lead and role model the transformation of Siemens Energy by creating a collaborative environment internally to meet evolving customer/market needs.
- Develop Dutch roadmaps for the energy transition and its market development strategy, including partner & network strategy.
- Promote, lead, and drive development and talent management for the local team.
- Provide a platform for responsible SE Business Areas to successfully operate on.
- Ensure that legal rules and regulations are adhered to in the country.
- Co-lead and support the Key Account community in the country.

Requirements

- Successful track record in leading transformation in the energy industry
- Talented and well-rounded senior industrial executive with extensive exposure across functions within a multi-national corporation
- Superb leadership and teamwork qualities; versatile, creative, lean, agile, and proactive in getting into details and working in a hands-on way
- Deep understanding of the Dutch Energy landscape and industry
- Network and experienced in building relations with key clients, governmental officials (lobbying), and internal stakeholders
- Individual who promotes and drives change management and collaboration and embraces Siemens Energy's values and role models key behaviors
- Proficient in English/Dutch
