Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Non-Destructive Testing Technician to join our Measurement Solutions Quality team at our Ede location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and evaluate Non-Destructive tests, including Radiographic examination, Liquid Penetrant examination, and Positive Material Identification (PMI) examination to ensure all welds meet Emerson and industry quality specifications.
  • Evaluate and analyze NDT results, reporting any non-conformance issues.
  • Ensure Progressive Sampling Rate process is applied according to procedure.
  • Administer all required NDT documentation, quality data, and records, maintaining traceability.
  • Verify validity of welding procedures and documentation to ensure all NDT inspected sensors are manufactured with valid welding documentation (WPS), welding processes (PQR), and welder qualifications/ prolongations (WPQ).
  • Write all relevant NDT reports.
  • Collaborate with customers or third parties on NDT activities.
  • Assist Operations by providing visibility of welder performance continuously.
  • Support welder development, identifying opportunities for improvement to increase welder knowledge and capabilities.
  • Participate in the Material Review Board, defining the final disposition of welding-related non-conformances and Temporary Deviation Approvals.
  • Perform internal process audits for various standards, providing insight into overall NDT improvement areas on a regular basis.
  • Ensure NDT equipment maintenance and calibration is performed accurately and in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Professional-level fluency in Dutch and English language, with reasonable proficiency in the other.
  • Sound knowledge of quality systems, standards, and certifications.
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, such as lean and CIP.
  • Demonstrated ability in quality control/welding inspection activities.
  • Expertise in relevant Quality tools (Ishikawa, Design of Experiment).
  • Ability to pass a J1 eye exam and Ishihara vision test with or without corrected vision.
  • Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and welding procedure specifications (WPS).
  • Good digital literacy, including navigating within a Windows operating environment and use of Microsoft Office programs.
  • This position requires extended periods of time in a production environment and may require standing for longer portions of the day.
  • Lifting goods up to a maximum of 25kg.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least MBO level in a relevant Engineering field or equivalent technical experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant standards and guidelines (ISO9712, ASME section 9, PED, ISO3834, ISO14731, ISO9606, and ISO15614).
  • Preferably Radiographic testing Level II and Film reading Level II certified (otherwise training will be provided).

This is an on-site position at our location (remote/home/hybrid working is not possible). Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday), is strongly preferred. Relocation is not provided; you need to be living in the Netherlands with a valid residence permit that allows you to work without restriction.
