Learning and Development Operations Specialist

As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our lifetime learning programs. This involves defining and executing our training strategy to ensure it aligns with our current and future organizational needs.
You will work closely with regional educational centers to develop and implement educational programs that enhance knowledge and skills among our operations colleagues. Additionally, you will manage the Kerkrade DL training team and provide coaching and support to trainers to ensure employees apply required knowledge, skills, and behaviors in their daily routines.
Your professional expertise and contributions will support our strategic directions towards operational excellence. You will also serve as our Curriculum Manager for both Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Training Record Systems (TRS).
In this role, you will partner with all managerial levels and colleagues to provide learning support, coaching, and evaluate learning effectiveness. You will stay up-to-date with the latest learning trends and serve as a subject matter expert on a broad range of learning topics.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and sustain lifetime learning activities, including onboarding new learners and interacting closely with education centers as our first point of contact.
- Coach and support individual learners, instructors, and their supervisors on translating learning into practice.
- Maintain all required learning activities for the entire facility on TRS/LMS systems and act as a subject matter expert during internal and external quality audits related to training compliance.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Education/Learning or relevant work experience. You should have at least 5 years of experience in the field of Education/Learning within a complex, international business environment.
You will thrive in a Warehouse team environment while collaborating with multifunctional teams. You must have demonstrated success in delivering training programs and coaching learners on application in daily work.
Additionally, you should have a continuous process improvement mentality, identifying opportunities and acting upon them. You will lead and coach a diverse group of colleagues with excellent organization skills and superb attention to detail.
We require strong technical proficiency and knowledge of various Learning systems and computer applications, including MS Office. Fluency in English and Dutch is essential.
