We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Operator to join our Trading & Supply team at Shell. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for executing contractual obligations, liaising with internal departments, customers, and external parties, and contributing to the profitability of our product trading team.
Key Responsibilities- Execute contracts for the trading of biofuels, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Liaise with internal departments, customers, and external parties to resolve any issues or concerns related to contract execution.
- Contribute to the development of operational plans to support traders' strategies and optimize profit and loss.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure seamless transportation of biofuels via various modes, including waterways, trucks, trains, containers, and flexibags.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Effective interpersonal skills, problem-solving mentality, and quick decision-making.
- Substantial experience with storage, handling, and transport of biofuels.
- Complete understanding of factors influencing profit and loss and ability to translate traders' strategies into operational plans.
- End-to-end understanding of the biofuels business, including supply chain network design and cost optimization.
- Knowledge of international import/export trade practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
