The successful candidate will work on simulating heat and fluid flow for ensembles of reservoir models, supporting data collection for geothermal systems, and performing probabilistic techno-economic assessments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and apply new methods to quantify uncertainties in geothermal exploration and appraisal
- Simulate heat and fluid flow for ensembles of reservoir models
- Support data collection for geothermal systems
- Perform probabilistic techno-economic assessments
- Master's degree in applied geology, hydrogeology, or (geothermal) reservoir engineering
- Experience in integrating geoscience with fluid flow modeling or knowledge in simulating heat and fluid flow processes in geological formations
- Programming experience (e.g., Python, Matlab)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
