About the Role:

DP World is seeking a driven and results-oriented Logistics Sales Professional to join our team in Rotterdam. As a crucial part of our logistics sales team, you will play a vital role in generating revenue and maintaining strong customer relationships within the industry.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify potential customers, develop and maintain a customer database, and deliver compelling sales pitches to prospective customers.
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, address customer inquiries promptly, and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  3. Collaborate with the operations team to plan and coordinate shipments, ensure accurate and timely delivery, monitor shipment progress, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  4. Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and revenue.
  5. Generate regular sales reports and forecasts.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and competitors and identify opportunities for improvement and expansion.

About You:

  1. You have proven experience in operations as a fundamental aspect of customer service and pricing tasks.
  2. You have proven experience in sales within the logistics industry.
  3. You are proficient in using CRM and TMS software and other relevant tools.
  4. You are detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
  5. You have knowledge of freight forwarding operations and supply chain management.
  6. You possess excellent communication skills when it comes to handling customers and a good command of English.
