Your Role

As the Strategic Change Business Leader within the Finance & Risk Data Domain, you will uphold the vision and direction of our department. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that this vision is effectively articulated, transformed into a strategic plan, and underpinned by a robust architectural framework. You will oversee the management of the work portfolio within the domain, while maintaining a keen awareness of both internal and external factors that may influence the Finance & Risk Data landscape. This includes staying abreast of advancements in Data Management and Regulatory requirements pertinent to Finance & Risk Data. The BCBS239 guidelines will be a key focus, alongside a comprehensive understanding of the wider regulatory environment affecting Finance & Risk Data, such as Basel IV, EBA LOM, and the ECB Guide on Climate-related and Environmental risks.

Working Environment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is an integral part of the Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), actively engaging with all Finance and Risk departments. Our team comprises over 250 international professionals from diverse backgrounds, all committed to elevating risk data management standards. Our objective is to deliver reliable Finance & Risk data promptly by enhancing data quality, systems, and processes. We operate under an Agile framework, fostering a dynamic, open, and informal atmosphere across our five departments.

The Strategic Change & Portfolio Management Department is responsible for maintaining the vision and architecture (IT, Data, Business) of the Finance & Risk Data Domain. SC&PM plays a pivotal role in implementing the domain's vision and managing the overall portfolio, ensuring alignment with the change initiatives of other departments. Additionally, SC&PM oversees budget management, facilitates the Management Team, ensures high-quality management information, and provides secretarial support for the Data Domain Owner.

Your Profile

We seek a seasoned leader with extensive experience in Finance, Risk Management, Change Management, and/or Data Management within banking, financial organizations, or consultancy. You will have a thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape affecting our operations and possess a proven track record in team building and leadership. Your focus will be on collaboration, innovation, and goal achievement, complemented by exceptional communication skills. You are data-driven, innovative, and embrace an Agile approach to work.

  • A completed higher professional education (HBO) or university degree (WO) with at least 15 years of relevant experience in Finance, Risk Management, Data Management, or Change Management.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of professionals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Management, Change Management, or Organizational Development Best Practices.
  • Familiarity with the comprehensive range of regulatory reporting requirements impacting Finance & Risk Data.
  • Excellent communication skills with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Advisory and implementation expertise.

What We Offer

  • A competitive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, inclusive of vacation pay and a benefits budget.
  • An 11% Benefit Budget of your salary, allowing for additional employment benefits. If unused in a month, you will receive one twelfth of this budget.
