Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Passenger Service Representative to join our team at Skytanking. As a Passenger Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our airline partners and their passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all processes and activities are completed in accordance with CAA and DfT regulations, as well as company procedures.
  • Provide a consistently high level of service to passengers, ensuring their experience is exceptional.
  • Complete check-in and boarding processes for passengers and their baggage, in accordance with EASA and CAA regulations.
  • Meet or exceed established performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) set by our airline partners.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Front of House team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all equipment, including wheelchairs, is properly maintained and meets health and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Read and understand station instructions at the start of each shift to stay informed of any changes relevant to your role.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues, where possible, and keep supervisors informed.
  • Report incidents or accidents involving customers, staff, equipment, or aircraft to your supervisor immediately.
  • Complete all paperwork and administrative tasks in a timely manner and communicate relevant information as needed.
  • Ensure that all work areas, including check-in counters, ticket counters, and gates, are safe and report any issues.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a ground steward.
  • Completed MBO-4 education, preferably in Aviation Services or Travel & Hospitality.
  • Availability to work irregular hours, including weekends.
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, efficiency, and safety within established timeframes.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English.

  • A weekly repeating roster (6 days on, 3 days off).

  • Vacation pay of 8% of your basic salary.
  • 22.5% overtime pay in addition to your basic hourly rate.
  • Other allowances for tasks such as de-icing or first aid.
  • Reimbursement for travel costs up to 20 km one way (max. €9.20 per day).
  • Reimbursement for public transportation costs up to €16.20 per day.
