Social Impact and Human Rights Expertise

We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our team at KPMG Netherlands, specializing in business and human rights. As a key member of our Social Sustainability, Business and Human Rights, and Supply Chain & Operations Networks, you will help our clients navigate complex social issues and risks, while identifying opportunities for sustainable positive change.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing projects in human rights and social impact due diligence
  • Conducting stakeholder consultations, social research, and human rights impact assessments
  • Developing and implementing practical responses to create sustainable positive change
  • Collaborating with colleagues from various departments to deliver innovative services relating to social impact and human rights in business
  • Playing a pivotal role in our market presence and thought leadership in the field of business and human rights

Requirements:

  • Significant knowledge of and 10+ years of experience in the field of business and human rights
  • Strong preference for prior working experience in both consultancy and in-house roles (Corporate Sector or Financial Sector)
  • Experience in implementing relevant tools and methodologies, such as stakeholder consultations, social research, social audits, human rights and environmental risk assessments, human rights impact assessments
  • Strong communication skills, including report writing and presenting in English and Dutch
  • Experience managing global projects
  • Ability to think from multiple stakeholder perspectives
