Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Turnaround Planner to join our team at Hexion Careers. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and executing turnarounds and clean out stops to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures around maintenance projects and turnarounds.
  • Collaborate with production, operations, integrity, maintenance, and construction managers to ensure seamless execution of turnarounds.
  • Plan and coordinate the installation of equipment, including heat exchangers, columns, furnaces, vessels, control and relief valves, pumps, and compressors.
  • Mark up and compile work packages, and generate these packages for stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the tracking of post-turnaround activities in the startup plant phase.
  • Direct hired planners and contact and select contractors for the execution of turnaround scope.
  • Prepare and issue proposals and preliminary construction schedules for turnarounds and clean out stops.
  • Responsible for actual construction progress and to provide schedule updates.
  • Field supervision during turnarounds.
  • Responsible for all commissioning works related to turnarounds and clean out stops.
Requirements
  • HBO (WTBK) degree or equivalent.
  • Practical experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Affinity with IT.
  • Knowledge and affinity of rotating works.
  • Affinity for schedule activities.
