Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our team as an IT Support Representative. This is a full-time onsite position based out of our Amsterdam, Netherlands office.

About the Role

The IT Support Representative will be an integral member of our IT Support team, reporting to the Manager, IT Support. In this role, you will provide world-class service and support to our team members, regardless of location. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing technical support for our employees' technology needs
  • Troubleshooting complex technical issues
  • Creating knowledge base articles and other documentation
  • Reporting issue resolutions back to affected stakeholders
Key Responsibilities

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will also:

  • Place orders and receive IT equipment shipments
  • Configure and set up technology systems for team members
  • Maintain asset inventory
  • Manage and troubleshoot office workstations and meeting rooms
  • Support specific cloud systems used by the corporation
  • Create and ensure timely decommissioning of accounts for new hires and team members leaving Assent
  • Maintain software licensing and manage user accounts
  • Monitor specific processes and report status
  • Provision and deprovision office access for users
  • Act as an escalation point for team members in Kenya and Malaysia
  • Work closely with all Assentees across the regions we operate in
  • Familiarize yourself with corporate security policies and follow established procedures
  • Understand and adhere to ethical business practices, confidentiality, and organizational values
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience supporting Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Proficiency in using Google Workspace
  • Experience supporting both local and remote users
  • Experience with network troubleshooting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English
  • Passion for providing high-quality service and support
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish cross-functional relationships
  • Diligence and attention to detail
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills
Compensation and Benefits

This is a competitive compensation opportunity, estimated at €55,000 - €65,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working environments, volunteer days, and opportunities to get involved in corporate giving initiatives.
