We are seeking a highly skilled IT Security and Compliance Expert to join our team at emagine Consulting. This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $120,000 per year.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of IT security and compliance, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's technology and business assets, translating policies into practical solutions, and providing advice to management regarding compliance.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team, head office, and other departments to protect our technology and business assets.
  • Translate information security and privacy policies into practical and reusable IT criteria and solutions.
  • Coordinate with the CISO office and colleagues in other IT departments.
  • Monitor compliance and assess the effectiveness of information security and privacy policies.
  • Provide advice to management on compliance with information security and privacy policies.
  • Support management and internal and external stakeholders on information security and privacy.
  • Develop and maintain the control framework for security and privacy policies.
  • Monitor compliance and assess the effectiveness of Information Security, IT Continuity, and Privacy assessments.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A strong academic background and thinking level, preferably in EDP auditing or related field.
  • Extensive knowledge of the IT domain and up-to-date certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO standards and VIR/BIO protocols.
  • Fluency in English.
