About the Role

The Risk Management Specialist identify and analyze potential sources of loss to minimize risk, estimates the potential financial consequences of an occurring loss, develops and implements controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization's risks as well as assesses and communicates information regarding business risks with functions across the organization.

Education

A university degree.

Experience

At least 10 years of experience in a similar environment of which 5 year in a senior analyst position or
consulting.

Key responsibilities

01 . Lead the preparation of correct reporting and define structure of reporting, while anticipating the impact of business changes on the required reporting.

02 . Manage large and complex inter-divisional projects, such as the update of the company strategy, the definition of company wide key performance indicators, the preparation of alliances and partnerships agreements, the definition of pricing for services.

03 . Structure the preparation of business cases for new products, define approaches, prepare complex business cases.

04 . May initiate, define, organise and manage the consolidation of annual budgets, long term financial plans and quarterly financial reviews for the entire company. Prepare and conduct presentations for the executive steering group.

05 . Define medium and long term view on processes and methods and secure resources to implement improvements, within department and across the company.

06 . In line with the company strategy/operating plan, plan, coordinate and organise the activities of a department. Set objectives and develop tactical action plans. Manage team of analysts to ensure delivery against short and mid term objectives.

07 . Develop specific skills and understanding related to own area of expertise. Bring new external ideas in the department/division to improve processes.

08 . Apply in-depth expert knowledge in sub-functional area/overall project to satisfy customers and provide expert advice and guidance to less experienced analysts.

09 . Proactively assess impact of changes on division activities and communicate to management.
