QPS Netherlands BV in Groningen is part of a global organization and conducts drug research for international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. For the department GBA-NL we are looking for a new colleague to join our team as a (Senior) Scientist.

The job

As (Senior) Scientist you are responsible for the overall execution of studies according to plan and budget. You anticipate changes of the study plan and make sure that deviations are handled correctly according to the quality system. You will be the single point of contact for our clients, work closely with colleague scientists, technicians, team lead and will play a pivotal part in the development of new medicines to cure human diseases.

In this role, you will:

Manage multiple bioanalytical projects at the same time, and be the primary contact person for our clientsHands on development of LC-MS/MS methods for both small and large molecules assaysBe overall responsible for budget, regulatory compliance and timelines of each projectBe the trainer for (new) Scientists and develop skills to growGenerate research data from analysis, report and communicate results to stakeholders in the organization and customersSearch for scientific literature for studies and stay up to date about latest developmentsYou may be asked to support hands-on bioanalysis based on operational needsSupervise the execution of studies according to GLP/GCP regulations and quality system guidelines

Who are you?

PhD degree in bioanalysis, chemistry, biochemistry or comparable field or master’s degree with equivalent laboratory experienceA minimum of 3-5 years relevant working experience in bioanalysisHands-on experience with executing, developing and validating LC-MS/MS assays for small and large molecules (proteins, peptides, oligos, lipids, ADCs), preferably within a GLP environmentYou are proactive, have excellent analytical skills and you can work well under pressureYou are experienced in managing multiple projects, and you are familiar with quality guidelines according to GLP/GMPYou have good communication skills; you are proficient both in speaking and writing in the English languageYou are home-based in The Netherlands to work on-site in Groningen.
