Are you ready to take charge of our air freightoperations? We are seeking an enthusiastic Air Freight HandlingOperative for a full-time role (36 hours per week). This positionis an excellent opportunity to start in our warehouse andpotentially grow into aircraft handling (Ramp) in thefuture

What will youdo?

  • Collect incomingair freight from aircraft pallets and sort it onto woodenpallets.
  • Seal and scan airfreight.
  • Prepare aircraft pallets with plasticand nets.
  • Load and unload trucks using aforklift.

As you progress, you’ll beinvolved in aircraft handling when the planes land—setting up theblocks, preparing the boarding stairs, providing power to theaircraft, and working with your team to load and unload cargo. Eachtask varies, ensuring your work is diverse and neverdull.

Functie-eisen

(Requirements)

  • You speakand understand Dutch or Englishwell.
  • You are physically fit for manualwork.
  • You are available for early, afternoon,and night shifts according to a setschedule.
  • You have a valid forkliftcertification or are willingto obtain one shortly.
  • You hold a validdriver's license (Category B) and a car to get to worksafely.
  • You can obtain a certificate of noobjection (VGB): you have no criminal record and have lived in theNetherlands for at least 8 years.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

(What we offer)

  • Startingsalary: €19.27 gross per hour.
  • Travelreimbursement of €0.22 per kilometer, with a maximum of €180 netper month.
  • 25 vacation days plus holiday pay(8%).
