In your role as NFR Issue Management Coordinator within the Global Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention (Global FCFP) department, you will act as the linking pin between the Global FCFP Risk & Control team and all relevant global and local stakeholders in order to ensure effective issue management in line with the NFR Framework.

Global FCFP is responsible for monitoring, investigating, detecting and preventing financial crimes and fraudulent activities globally at ING. The Global FCFP Risk & Control is responsible for 1st line risk management activities including but not limited to risk assessments, key control management, issue management, business control (BCO role) and reporting. Roles and responsibilities
The Global FCFP – NFR Issue Management Coordinator:
Coordinates issue management across CDD, Screening, Transaction Monitoring, Customer Tax Services and Fraud.Is the linking pin between the Global FCFP Risk & Control department and Global FCFP community across all 3 Lines of Defense (Compliance, ORM, IRM and CAS).Supports issue and action owners with issue opening & closure, content and progress monitoring.Works with the Monitoring Entities in 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defence to ensure smooth validation process.Performs qualitative assessments on the content of issues (and events) with respect to completeness, accuracy and timeliness.Ensures that the entire Global FCFP community at different levels is adequately informed about and engaged on FCFP related issue management.Performs quarterly calculations for NFR-reporting (annualized loss expectancy / risk scores) and prepares and provides reporting on progress and reports challenges to the Global FCFP Management Team and relevant stakeholders.How to succeedWe hire smart people like you for your potential. You understand the Financial Crime and/or the non-financial risk environment and have professional knowledge of business processes.You have proven successful, recent bank-wide complex, cross-border / cross-business unit project / programme management experience.You have at least a general understanding of Risk Management; you are pragmatic and energetic.You have a critical mindset, a can-do and hands-on mentality, modest or pro-active where needed, and stress resistant.You are people-orientated, connecting and interacting with others is something that comes naturally to you.You are a good communicator, being able to convey complex messages in simple ways. Other job requirements: Academic degree.At least 5 years of work experience, preferably within Financial Crime or NFR domains.Extensive work experience in a large financial institution.Strong experience in working in a complex global matrix organization, with ability to interact with and drive progress amongst senior stakeholders.Knowledge of the ING organisation, products, processes and application landscape strongly preferred.Relevant project or program management experience.Fluent in English.Organisational sensitivity, flexibility and self-starting capabilities.Learning agility and innovative mindset.
