Introduction to the job

You guide the network organization containing Agile Release Trains (ART) in getting a sound Quality Assurance mechanism in place specifically for the IT related portfolios, including quality of the deliverables and Agile Release Train way of working, all laid down in a sound process and monitored by relevant performance indicators. Also, you drive a continuous improvement culture of QA x-ASML. You are able to “sell” Quality Assurance as an interesting opportunity for Agile Release Trains to excel and for team members to grow in delivering successful products.

To achieve your mission, you initiate assessments to analyze issues and to support, steer, and plan solutions. It is essential that you (get to) know your internal customers and stakeholders who need your specific competence to create successful solutions in the scope of your team.

As IT Quality Assurance Officer, you are responsible for developing and driving the quality assurance management.

Role and Responsibilities

IT Quality Assurance Officer keeps oversight over the run and change activities of all ART/Teams within the IT Landscape. Supports business and IT management to identify areas to improve the ART/Team capabilities to adhere to the relevant guidelines, standards, and policies. The role involves orchestrating and reporting adherence with the overall aim improving the quality of the product or service. Periodical assessments and predefined controls, identify areas for improvement and suggest corrective actions. The required standards cover for the ASML relevant internal and external regulations and standards.

An assessment planning is shared and aligned with the stakeholders. Execution of the plan result in assessments that indicates the adherence of the team/product with our policies and standards. Assessment results are reported in our tools and followed up on completion.

Owns and leads the process of defining IT Quality Assurance goals, strategy, and roadmap for assigned capabilities. Supports process deployment and assesses the maturity of capabilities, as well as definition of and alignment on key improvement areas.

Education and experience

Education

Minimum Bachelor level or equivalent in a technical direction, e.g., Information Technology or Computer Science

Experience 

10+ years of experience and expertise in Quality Management preferable in combination with IT Audit expertise

>5 years of experience in working in a global technology environment (e.g. automotive, electronics, semiconductor, healthcare)

Strong profession with strong execution power and 'hand on' mentality to drive and sustain changes

Proven track record in creating sense of urgence to systematically apply root cause analysis and develop solutions

Able to functionally influence, inspire and engage expertise professionals
