About the Role
As a New Business Development Manager for KoneXTM, your mission will be to drive outbound direct sales and close new customer deals for our KoneXTM-Pro and KoneXTM-Enterprise licenses. You will be responsible for hunting down new business opportunities by leveraging your existing business network, attending industry events, and engaging directly with potential clients.
Your primary focus will be finding customers in Fulfilment and Online Retail in Netherlands and Belgium and Luxembourg. Additionally, you’ll help companies from outside the EU (such as the USA, UK, and Türkiye) to seamlessly enter the European market by integrating them with leading national and EU-wide fulfillment companies.
What you will do
-Proactively identify and engage with new customers within your existing network of fulfilment companies and at trade fairs and seminars.
-Being a strategic advisor to ambitious Fulfilment & Logistics Companies and fast-growing Online Retailers looking for seamless eCommerce integrations from order to delivery.
-Drive outbound sales by personally hunting and closing KoneXTM-Pro and -Enterprise licenses, generating significant license revenues.
-Contribute primarily to the growth of KoneXTM in the Netherlands and Belgium, expanding our presence in these regions.
-Actively growing our KoneXTM eCommerce community by targeting customers and integration partners that will create synergies with our existing customer base.
-Contribute to continuously fine tuning our value proposition, based on the feedback you receive from prospects and customers.
Who you are
-A seasoned business development professional with experience selling iPaaS solutions or licensed software products for the eCommerce sector. You understand the challenges faced by companies across the entire supply chain from order to delivery.
-Familiarity with the unique challenges faced by retailers and fulfilment companies in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
-A relevant personal business network at C-level in the e-Commerce sector, primarily with Fulfilment companies, and fast-growing Online Retailers seeking to outsource or upgrade fulfilment.
-Proven experience in closing high-value deals and generating license revenues. Able to create a stable sales pipeline with both short cycle smaller deals and longer-term large deals.
-Fluent in Dutch and English. Preferably also in French. German is a plus.
-An entrepreneurial attitude where you fill in the gaps as you go, without losing track of the company mission. Actively involving your fellow colleagues and specialists in order to close deals that meet customer expectations.
-The ambition to expand your horizon beyond the Benelux, after proven success. Wanting to be part of a winning team that is in it for the long run.
-Plus point: A personal business network that includes Online Retailers in the USA, UK, or Türkiye looking to enter the EU market and seeking fulfilment.
